What are your rental fees? The cost is $1,250.00 for the entire weekend.

What does this include? *Use of all 4 suites for two nights *Full breakfast for up to 8 people (Additional breakfast can be made for additional charge)
*Use of the house and grounds for photo’s
*Wedding garden and gazebo for ceremony or special event


Is there a security deposit? There is a $250 security deposit for loss or damages sustained during your use of the house and grounds. It there are no incidents, your deposit will be refunded within 7 business days. In the unfortunate event that you did have damages and the amount exceeded your deposit, refer to rental agreement.

Can Alcoholic beverages be served? You may serve wine, beer or mixed drinks. However, rowdy and drunken behavior will not be
tolerated and persons who display this type of behavior will be escorted off the premises. We encourage you and your guest to drink in moderation and responsibly. Don’t drink and drive!

Is Bridgewater Hall a smoke-free facility?
Yes. You and your guests are permitted to smoke on the grounds, but not in the house. Smoking devices should be disposed of properly. An extra charge will result if cigaret butts are found in the yard and flower beds.

Do you supply tents, tables and chairs?
We do not provide tables, chairs and tents. Only the furniture that is in constant use is supplied. We recommend Valley Rentals in Morganton.

When can we begin decorating?
You may begin decorating for the event the day before your special event is scheduled to happen. All decorations should be removed before 1:00am the following day after the event. Decorations to be used inside the house will require prior approval from the owner of Bridgewater Hall.

Do I have to pay the whole amount at one time?
We require the entire payment, including security deposit when the rental agreement is signed.

Is there a cancellation policy?
After the rental agreement is signed and the date has been set, no refund can be given. You may change the date for a 25% up charge. In the event that you would cancel, your security deposit would be the only funds refunded. There can be no changes made due to weather.
Please understand, after your date has been set, we must turn other potential guest away for your reserved dates.

How far in advance should I make my reservation? The more time you allow, the better for everyone. This gives a much better chance that the date will be available.
